Since I don’t have a pug mill at home, or any spare space in my dining room, aka “clay studio,” I opted to purchase pre-prepared clay from a company based in Barcelona called SIO2 3D Printing Clay. Be sure to watch their cool video!
The clay can be fired up to Cone 10, and is absolutely scrumptious in the printer. I have to get better at loading the tubes, but I suspect that will come with time. I did not have the ability at home to mix my own clay, so I am thrilled with this solution.
And the best news is you can order in the US from 3D Potterbot. They had it in stock, so I am all set for 3D print binging. Or so I hope.
